Lauren's 4th Birthday Party

We had such a blast for Lauren's birthday this year! Once again we had her party at Gymboree Play and Music. But this year was different. She had so much more fun! She had lots of her friends there to celebrate with her. We had cupcakes and juice. She loved her cupcakes and her special cupcake cake that I made special for her. She has changed so much in the past year! Its so hard to believe that our little baby girl is 4 years old already. Where does the time go?? Well make sure to check out our pictures below! I posted some pics below of Lauren at the Gage center. Its a fun gymnastics place here that has an open gym once in awhile for younger kids. We went there with her physical therapist Brandy and one of my friends Judy. She got to bounce on the trampolines, swing, go on a gigantic slide and just play on the floor. We practiced walking and she did so great! Since she had such a great time I think we should go back again. :)

Below are some photos from our little trip to Deanna Rose Animal Farm. The girls had a great time. Lauren and I had never been there before and she and I will definitely be going back. She had a great time swinging and riding on the pedal tractors! Hope you enjoy looking at our fun pics! Check out the cute fluffy Bunny :)

Okay so I feel really bad that I haven't posted in months!! Hmmmm like almost 9 months. Ooops. I guess I let the time get away from me. I promise I am going to try to better this time. So here we go.... What has been going on for the past 9 months. Well ALOT! Ha. Lauren had a wonderful first year of preschool and is getting ready for her second year to start this monday!! Yay. I know she will be happy to get back into her routine as well as I. Im really excited about starting my work out routine again. Unfortunately I got off track a little from falling down the stairs in February. Who knew falling down the stairs and breaking your back could take awhile to heal. lol. Michael has been pretty busy at work which is great for him. We haven't done a whole lot this summer. Its been nice. I am going to be posting some new pics of some fun things we have been doing that I have been taking with my new camera! So excited. My dad got me an awesome camera. Hoping to take up photography as a hobby on the side :)

Hello Everyone. Merry Christmas! We spent christmas just the three of us this year. Lauren had a great time opening presents and playing with her new toys. We are going to find some more room for all of her new fun stuff!! Christmas break is almost over and I think we are all anxious to get back into a routine. Lauren really misses her school.

Bubbles

Lauren got a really fun bubble machine for her birthday! She loves bubbles. We took some pictures of her on her birthday with Grandma and Pa and the bubbles. The Bubbles are almost as big as Lauren. Enjoy!

Preschool

Yes, you read the title "Preschool". Lauren has now officially started preschool!!! It's hard to believe that she is old enough to be in school. It is a really neat school. Lauren is in Mrs. Raymond and Mrs. Rowe's Class. I think she is going to love it. She will get to learn all sorts of new things. The past few days have been a little rough for her. Tears have been shed. But once she gets in her routine she will be just fine. She gets all of her therapies there and will soon be starting P.T and speech outside of school. And now that she is in school I have been enjoying the community center across the street. They have classes, machines, weights, a pool, and a track. It is awesome. I have already done water aerobics and love it. Lauren and I are both benefiting from this small change :) Here are some pictures of Lauren's first day of school!

Birthday Fun

Well Lauren's birthday party was a huge success! Aunt Jaime flew in from Tampa. Cassie flew in from Chicago. Grandma and Pa came in town and so did Grandpa Guido. We had her actual party at Gymboree play and music. It was a blast. She had lots of friends come. All together there was 8 kiddos. They played games, music, blew bubbles, and did stuff with a big parachute. And of course there was free time to play on the slides and other things. It was fun!! Lauren had a blast. After the party we took her to Red Robin. One of her most favorite places to eat! Check out our fun photos from the party!!

Weekend of Fun!

We went to St. Louis this past weekend to meet up with some special friends that we haven't seen in almost two years!! Way to long. Our daughters share something in common. They both have 1p36 deletion syndrome. It was about time to get the girls together again. Gracin's mom Stacey and I really hit it off talking on the phone and at our first get together. So it was only natural to hang out again. They are more like family to us than anything else. We learned more things that Gracin and Lauren have in common. They roll the same way on the floor with one arm tucked under! We took the kids swimming and to the zoo. Lauren liked the swimming pool better than she did last year. She actually let us put her feet in and she bounced around a little too. I still think she would prefer to do other things though. Like shake her advil bottle!! She loves making noise.

The zoo was fun. It would have been better if it hadn't been a million degrees out and humid. We only lasted about two hours there. But I did get some great pictures. Kevin (Gracin's dad), Michael and Ryder(Gracin's brother) went to a Cardinals game Friday night. They had fun. The girls had fun too! We just hung out and let Lauren and Gracin play. We must another weekend soon! It went by way to fast. I miss them already and it has only been a day!

We bought Lauren a kiddie pool to put in the backyard this year. We weren't sure how well it was going to go over but as you can see she loved it!! I think we are going to have to get it out again this weekend because it is way too hot to do anything else.
